VetCheck is designed to be predictable, flexible, and easy to use. The goal is to keep the connection open without making the process feel clinical or intrusive.

Create a check-in plan
The veteran starts by setting up a plan that fits their needs and comfort level.
2️⃣
Choose communication preferences
The veteran selects a preferred communication channel and a check-in frequency that works for them.
3️⃣
Receive periodic check-ins
VetCheck responders and counselors periodically reach out using the agreed-upon method and schedule.
During the plan

If a crisis concern appears
When a responder or counselor notices signs of crisis concern, VetCheck directs the veteran to appropriate crisis resources right away. The objective is to move from check-in support to urgent help without delay.
